Team Virage in the mythical Le Mans circuit for RTLM

Team Virage took part mid-September in the ‘Road to Le Mans’ event, LMP3’s world most important event. For this race, two new drivers joined Team Virage, British James Winslow and Belgian Tom Cloet.

In the mythical Le Mans circuit, which is about to turn one century old, our LPM3 #12 showed once more its competitiveness after the positive performance encountered at Dijon and Le Castellet. During Qualifying 1, Winslow was coming within the first three cars when an unlucky spin got our chances of good grid position vanished.

Starting from outside the Top 10, Winslow and Cloet crossed the line in P11 after having fought for P4 during the race, until a contact with a floppy generated serious damages to the front part of the car with an irreparable loss of downforce.

This competition was celebrated coinciding with ‘The 24 hours of Le Mans’ which made it so special despite the absence of crowd due to Covid19 restrictions.
